Lawmaker Seeks More Casino Studies

A freshman state lawmaker is proposing legislation that would require a local referendum and other studies before a possible third casino could be established in Connecticut off tribal lands.

Rep. Scott Storms, who represents Windsor Locks, one of the two towns left in the running to host a satellite casino, said there is little information about where the casino might be located and no sense of how a host community agreement might be put together.
